About Marc Manishimwe
Marc Manishimwe is a seasoned education specialist, curriculum designer, and ICT professional with a deep-rooted passion for transforming education through innovation and relevance. With over a decade of experience across teaching, educational leadership, and national curriculum development, Marc continues to make a lasting impact in Rwandaβs Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Kigali and a Bachelorβs degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT) with honors from the University of Rwanda β College of Science and Technology. His academic foundation is grounded in science and mathematics, having completed his secondary education at Groupe Scolaire St Joseph Birambo, where he studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In addition, Marc holds a Certificate in Filmmaking and TV Production from Kigali Film and Television School, which enhances his ability to integrate creative media and digital storytelling into educational content and outreach.
In his current role as Deputy Head Teacher in charge of Studies at Buyoga Technical Secondary School, Marc oversees academic programs, develops training schedules, leads the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of staff, and manages performance evaluations. He also serves as the school's Public Relations Officer, responsible for digital content creation and stakeholder engagement.
Marc previously served as a TVET trainer at APEKI Tumba TVET School and Groupe Scolaire des Parents, where he taught in the trades of Software Development, Computer Systems and Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, as well as Accounting. His subject mastery and dedication to instructional quality led to broader contributions in Rwandaβs national education initiatives.

Marc is the founder of EducationVolunteer.xyz , a consultancy platform dedicated to supporting individuals and organizations in establishing and managing TVET schools in Rwanda. Through this initiative, he offers free consultations and services in areas such as:
